After graduating from The Ohio State University with a degree in Forest Industries, Terry got his first job at a wholesale lumber company. Since that time he has sold a variety of products including millwork, doors and windows. He joined the SolarGlass team in 1996 and specializes in historic renovation, remodeling and new home construction. His hobbies include camping, hiking, hunting and playing guitar.
Boone finally joined the SolarGlass team in ’99 after exploring interplanetary soundscapes for a number of years. Interestingly enough, he is one of the few Coloradans who are here for the nightlife. His favorite part of SolarGlass is working with the ever expanding family of loyal customers who make the day fun as well as productive as they seek to “get it right.”
Ooshon grew up in Greeley, and has been a Colorado resident since 1972. He has an extensive construction background, having joined his first framing crew in 1996 to learn the craft. He has continued to refine his skills with projects ranging in size from single window installations to new home construction, and from commercial to government contracts. He is a very talented window installation specialist with Installation Masters Certification, and we are lucky to have him! Ooshon is married with two daughters, ages 16 and 9.
Kelly works as the inside sales consultant out of the Denver office and is proving vital in bridging the generation gap among the SolarGlass family; working on formulating marketing strategies and encouraging the utilization of social media to broaden the market coverage. She is a graduate of Colorado State University, with a BA in Journalism, an emphasis in PR, and a minor in Business. When she is not supporting the Denver sales team, you may find her hiking, swimming, jogging, or fraternizing with the four-legged members of staff.
Kib graduated from Cortland State University/N.Y. with a major in Physical Education, and a minor in special education. She has worked in the window and door business for over 20 years, and joined SolarGlass in 2002. Kib enjoys golf, scuba diving, riding her Harley, and hanging out with her dogs.
Mike joined SolarGlass in March of 2012. He is currently learning how to service windows and doors while making deliveries. He has over 10 years experience in the Customer Service and Distribution field. Mike is also a certified Tyvek Installer. Mike loves watching espn before he goes to bed and enjoys walking his dog Diesel.
Rick is the company’s Vice President responsible for commercial and residential sales, as well as installation services. Previously, he was the owner of Bear Construction and Design for 16 years, specializing in commercial and multi-family wood framing. Rick graduated with a degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University, is married, has two kids, and coaches high school baseball.
Gwénaël has owned SolarGlass for nearly eight years. After working in cable television, technology, and finance, and spending a great deal of time in Europe, he wanted to own something where he could “walk the talk” on service excellence and “quality of customer experience”. We are selling the peace of mind of knowing the project will be completed on time and without any hand wringing or second guessing about choosing SolarGlass. Gwénaël feels that the coolest part of being a member of SolarGlass team is the people he works with; “the most experienced, the most tenured, and the most eclectic group in the window business!”
Jay joined the SolarGlass team in June of 2013. Jay has extensive experience in the Ag industry and mechanical fields. Jay moved from western Kansas in 2011 to Colorado with his wife Veronica. Jay enjoys working with is hands and enjoys spending time with his wife Veronica and his kids Dalton, Madeline and Billie.
Brad has been involved in all phases of the building and developing industries for almost 40 years. He is a Senior Sales Consultant for SolarGlass. Brad is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, is married to his wife Dianne of 35 years, and has two children, Tyler and Gracie.
Ann is proud to be from Virginia and loves her southern heritage but she chose Colorado in 2001 and hasn’t looked back having found her “Happy Place” in the Roaring Fork Valley. Ann has extensive administrative experience in a variety of fields but mainly relating to the real estate industry. She has owned and operated a couple of small businesses as well. Ann enjoys yoga, hiking and many outdoor activities offered by the beautiful surroundings of the Rocky Mountains. There is likely a rescue dog in the near future to join Ann, Jeff and their 2 CATS, Sister and Zippy.
Valerie- a Florida native, fell in love with Colorado after a brief visit, then moved to the small town of Lyons shortly thereafter. She came to SolarGlass with over ten years of commercial construction experience in various capacities including sales, estimating, project management, and installation services. As an outside sales consultant, she is able to leverage her construction history, while enlisting a background in glass, glazing, and windows. When she isn’t bringing in new clients, in her free time you might find her either volunteering at National Mill Dog Rescue, spending time hiking with her own two dogs, or cooking up an exceptional cuisine.
After two years at the University of Tennessee, David transferred to Middle Tennessee State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Recording Industry Management. After a short time in the Music Industry in Nashville he spent the next 20+ years in consulting and sales in industrial supplies and tools. He moved to Breckenridge in the Fall of 2013 to escape the humidity of the South, and loves the mountain life. He joined SolarGlass in February of 2015 to join the sales team and he covers much of the Rocky Mountains. In his free time he is either on his Harley, playing guitar, or is decked out in orange watching the Tennessee Volunteers on the gridiron on Fall Saturdays.
Jim began his career in the window & door business in 1989 with BMD, our Marvin distributer. He recently moved to Glenwood Springs from Black Forest, CO so that he may serve our mountain customers. His knowledge of many manufacturers allows him to educate his customers so that he may offer them the best solution for their projects. Jim has built a loyal customer base over the years by dedicating himself to providing superior customer service. He is also a passionate motorcycle rider and dog lover.
If you look in Jim’s truck on any given day you will likely find one of his four-legged “kids” tagging along. He is married and has two daughters, one of which is serving in the United States Air Force.
Lisa moved to Leadville, Colorado in 1983 from Illinois and attended Colorado Rocky Mountain College. In 1986 she moved to Boulder and was a bookkeeper for a few companies before becoming a member of the SolarGlass team in Feb. 1989. She loves to spend time with her husband and three children and works hard managing her husbands company.
Jon has 22 years of construction experience ranging from ground-up residential construction projects to large scale commercial renovations. Jon spent years traveling the country working as a construction manager for both the hotel industry and the retail sector. He trained under master carpenters in the field making his specialty trade carpentry. In Jon’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his son and family, fishing, playing guitar and volunteering for the Lyons Fire Department.
Eric is has been installing Marvin windows for SolarGlass over the past 5 years and now will be heading up our Installation Services group. He is both Installation Masters Certified and EPA Lead Certified. Eric brings 20 years experience in framing from high end residential to large multifamily and commercial window replacement projects. He has a varied background including structure moving and repair, interior and exterior trim, stain and lacquer, as well as furniture design and construction.
Chance is part of the SolarGlass Commercial Services division covering all of Colorado. Previously he was with a national window manufacturer concentrated on many facets of operations. After graduating college back east, he returned to his native Colorado to enjoy his family and the outdoors.
Jeff has been with SolarGlass Since January 2013. He has been in the commercial construction for many years he was living in North Carolina Before moving to Colorado 2 years ago. He enjoys fishing, camping and shooting clay pigeons he also loves going to see live music.
Jason is a Colorado native who has been working in the construction industry for 20+ years. His three children are his inspiration, but his work is truly his passion. With every project, Jason aspires to change our customers’ lives for the better … for years, decades, and hopefully a lifetime to come.
Bruce joined SolarGlass in October of 1995 as the Warehouse Manager of the original Englewood location. He is currently the Director of Customer Service and Delivery. Bruce has over 30 years of experience in the Distribution and Service of Window and Door products. Bruce is married and loves to spend time fishing and playing golf.
Bobby started with the SolarGlass team in 2013 and brings with him 10 years of customer service. After a successful stint learning the delivery/service aspect of the business, Bobby was promoted to Sales consultant, where the learning continues. Bobby has completed his Bachelor of Science in environmental sciences degree. He enjoys spending time with his family, being in the outdoors and watching sports.
Cora spends part of her work week hanging out with the SolarGlass team. Her job is to keep the owner in line. Good thing the work day is measured in dog-hours!
In her spare time, Fuzz enjoys playing with “Wilson” her tennis ball and she looks forward to rounding up the trash can each week at her home. Her work day begins when she brings in the daily newspaper, a quick brushing followed with a chauffeured ride into work with Dad, Bruce.
Thor is the newest member of the Geiger/Hagan and Cora household. He is a rescue puppy and we believe him to be a Whoodle, a product of a Wheaten Terrier and a Poodle. He is working on getting Cora to accept him as a little brother while Cora is still processing why she has to share her previous calm home. Thor looks forward to adding his energy to the SolarGlass team.
